The benefits of LeanStream
The project start-up is drastically reduced, as the methodology proposes the activity phases and also the deliverables to be worked through. We decide the specific characteristic of the deliverables jointly with our clients, drawing on standard templates and anonymised examples from successful COMIT implementations.
The project risks are significantly reduced, since communication between our subproject managers and banking subproject managers is based on common terminology from the outset and is therefore standardised and fact-based.
The project results have to be clearly documented resulting in a better and standardised preparation of the transition from the project to the operating phase. People entering the project at later stage are able to get up to speed quickly and it is possible to access an existing community in the event of queries.
The structure of LeanStream
- Project organisation: LeanStream puts forward a project organisation. The project is divided into banking and technical streams (subprojects). LeanStream regulates how the streams work together and proposes which stream should have the lead for which activity. The tasks, responsibility and competences of the individual bodies and roles are suggested and adapted to the client’s project culture.
- Iterative process: LeanStream is based on an iterative process that leads to the target solution in several iteration steps starting from the model bank. Each step goes through several phases. The necessary activities and required deliverables are proposed specifically for the stream and saved with templates and examples.
- Project management: LeanSteam proposes efficient and reasonable instruments for project planning, supervision and control and for reporting.
LeanStream is available in German, English and French.
